Once again Plumbago Mountain in Newry, Maine is the source for unique and beautiful Maine tourmaline. The newly developed mine produces an elegant gemstone that curiously shimmers with electric pulses of blue and green. These seem to emerge from deep forest shadows, the reason we call our unique gem "Sylvan Green". The gemstones are serene and as delightfully enticing as a mystical forest.

It is with no small amount of excitement that we can introduce to you the very latest Maine gem discovery of Plumbago Mountain Tourmaline, currently "Sylvan Green", a deep, saturated, teal material in sizes up to three carats. We are assembling a growing collection of uniquely-cut gemstones, exploring the seemingly unlimited potential of this wonderful new gem discovery and developing a gallery of exciting new jewelry designed around this lovely continuation of the Plumbago Tourmaline phenomenon.

Tourmaline is 1.6ct, blue-green, square cut, measures approximately 6mmx6mm. This gem is set in 14k white gold ring mounting with two round diamonds. Diamonds are SI clarity, G-H color, with total weight of .10cts.
